Are We Ventriloquists in Our Prayers?

OR (Insincere Prayers are to False God's-Satan's Copy)

4-25-13

1 Choronicles 10: 10, 13, 14

10And they put [Saul’s] (asked, demanded, desired, required)armor (prepared; article, vessel, implement, utensil; to complete, prepare, consume) in the house of their gods and fastened (to blow, clap, strike, sound, thrust, give a blow, blast; to become bondsman by handclasping) his head (head, poll, skull; to roll, roll away, roll down, roll together; commit; run down, seek occasion, trust, wallow) in the temple of Dagon. (corn; a fish; as prolific, timid; in the sense of squirming, that is, moving by the vibratory action of the tail; to spawn, that is, become numerous: - grow; to be anxious)

REWRITE: Satan tries to exhaust us by putting prayers/thoughts in us that contain many words that mean nothing because they aren't sincere. (He makes a COPY of prayer that is to 'false god's of insincerity' by using us. These are what were created to be ONLY JEHOVAH- GOD'S) Exhaustion, then, becames the bondsmen of the mind. Our prayers then exhaust our mind without using our heart and our prayers became anxious.

13 So Saul  died for his trespass (falsehood) against the Lord [in sparing Amalek (a people who lick up)], for his unfaithfulness in not keeping (guard, protect, attend to; observe, give heed) God’s word, and also for consulting [a medium with] a spirit (a familiar spirit; water skin bottle (from its hollow sound); a mumble, necromancer (ventriloquist, as from a jar); father through the idea of prattling a father’s name) of the dead to inquire (to follow for pursuit or search; to resort to, seek, seek with care, enquire, require; to worship; to seak deity in prayer and worship; to practice, study, follow, seek with application) pleadingly of it,

REWRITE: So 'prayers to Jehovah' were dead because they became insincere and fake toward Jehovah (were used instead toward exhausting God's people). In not being faithful in protecting, heeding, observing and attending to God's Word and for asking and inquiring from a 'fake voice/necromancer' (a fake 'god' with no life) "prayers to Jehovah' died.

14And inquired (to follow for pursuit or search; to resort to, seek, seek with care, enquire, require; to worship; to seak deity in prayer and worship; to practice, study, follow, seek with application)  not so of the Lord [in earnest penitence]. Therefore (as a result) the Lord slew (to die prematurely by neglect of wise moral conduct) him and turned (to revolve, surround or border; to turn, turn about or around or aside or back or towards, go about or around, surround, encircle, change direction) the kingdom (something ruled, that is, a realm) over to David (The Beloved/Believer) son (builder of the house of...; seed) of Jesse. (gift; oblation; "I possess"; to stand out or exist; being, existence, substance, there is or are)

REWRITE: Don't ask God in prayer if you aren't sincere. If you do, the result is that your prayers will die/not be heard/be nothing and the 'realm of prayer' will be handed to 'The Beloved/the TRUE Believer' who is the builder of the 'house' that DOES LIVE, is ALIVE and SINCERE. He/She petitions with sincere prayers that come from the HEART and are ALIVE with SUBSTANCE! THEY WILL STAND OUT TO JEHOVAH-GOD!

 

"Obedience Brings Growth, Safety and Direction from God" OR

"Dwelling in Praise & Worship in the 'Forest of Hareth'"

4-19-13

S. 1 Samuel 22:5 Then the prophet Gad (a band, a troop; attack, invade, overcome)said to David (The Beloved/Believer), Do not remain in the stronghold  (This was in "Moab" which means: "Of his father" a descendant of Lot, a dweller of Sodom) ("stronghold"=a net; from: to lie alongside (that is, in wait); by implication to catch an animal figuratively men); leave, and get into the land of Judah (PRAISE & WORHSIP. So David left and went into the forest (the verdure/thick vegetation or growth) of Hareth ('to engrave/impress deeply; to form by incision).

S.   1 Samuel 22:5 Then the prophet Gad said to David, Do not remain in the stronghold; leave, and get into the land of Judah. So David left and went into the forest of Hareth.

 

"FOREST OF HARETH"=thick growth that has been engraved/impressed deeply

O.   After David left his parents in a safe place, the prophet Gad came to him with a warning and instructions from God; David, the 'Beloved', must leave the stronghold and the trap of Moab ("Of his father" a descendant of Lot, a dweller of Sodom). Because of God's warning that came with directions, David went to the forest of Hareth in the land of Judah to find safety; his reward of an extended life. ('Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God commanded you, that your days may be long,...' Deut. 5:16)

 

A.   When I obey God's commandments/instructions as David did (i.e. "Honor your parents") then God gives me a safe place to dwell, spiritual growth and peace of mind. I need to keep my spiritual ear close to God's lips and my mind/heart set on obedience in times of trouble or confusion. (ESPECIALLY places of fear or worry!) Not only will He warn me, but He'll give me the instructions I need to find peace, safety and NEW SPIRITUAL GROWTH!

P.   Father, You amaze me! I love the way You keep watch over me. Help my ear to always be close to Your lips so that I may hear every personal warning and instruction for my life. Thank You for the reward/growth at the end of each obedient act. May I always turn that back into praise to You.

1 Samuel 14:

25And all the people of the land came to a wood, (to thicken with verdure; a copse of bushes; hence a forest; hence honey in the comb (as hived in trees) and there was honey (to be gummy; honey (from its stickiness); by analogy syrup) on the ground. (to spread out; a field as flat)

REWRITE: And all the people of the land came to a place of thick growth. In that place there was the sweet Word of God spread out on a wide and 'unstoppable' place.

26When the men entered the wood, (to thicken with verdure; a copse of bushes; hence a forest; hence honey in the comb (as hived in trees) behold, the honey ((to be gummy; honey (from its stickiness); by analogy syrup)was dripping, (a journey, that is, (by implication) a wayfarer; also a flowing; journey, go, walk, come; to die, live, manner of life) but no man tasted it, (to 'reach' his 'power, means, direction' in the means of 'speach' or 'to scatter into corners' or to 'to cleave in pieces, break into pieces, shatter') for the men feared (to fear, reverence, honour, respect, be awed) (#853 AS A SIGN FROM GOD) the oath. (the 'curse' would become 'completed')

REWRITE: Humanity entered this place of thick growth. Pay attention! The Word of God was flowing in the 'manner of life/living', but NO human reached out his powers, means or direction to SPEAK it in order to shatter it, break it and scatter it to the four corners of the Earth. Humanity feared and were in awe of the 'curse/death', fearing that it would be completed.

27 But Jonathan (Given of God) had not heard when his father charged the people with the oath. (the 'curse' would become 'completed') So he dipped (TO PLUNGE; to send away, to let go, to stretch out, extend, direct) (#853 AS A SIGN FROM GOD) the end of the rod ("the whole, end, mouth, extremity; to cut off/scrape off" of the "a branch (as extending); figuratively a tribe; also a rod, whether for chastising (figuratively correction), ruling (a sceptre), throwing (a lance), or walking (a staff; figuratively a support of life, for example bread)...as to 'stretch out' or 'spread out') in his hand (strength/power/direction) into a honeycomb (to thicken with verdure/growth) and put it to his mouth,  (returned his 'power, strength, direction, to his 'speach')and his [weary] eyes (as showing mental qualities; of mental and spiritual faculties) brightened. (enlightened/become luminous/to be or become light/to shine)

REWRITE: But JESUS had not heard this,...that Father God had charged people with a curse of death. So he extended His Words, spreading the out to support LIFE (BREAD OF LIFE). He used His strength, power and direction to thicken the growth of the spiritually and mental weary and enlighten them...making them LIGHT, LUMINOUS and SHINNING!

SATAN TRIES TO MESS WITH BELIEVER 'S SPIRITUAL VISION

1 Samuel 11:1 AND NAHASH (serpent/snake; from its hiss; to practice divination) the Ammonite (tribal/associate/nation; to huddle together; to dim, darken, grow dark) went up (excell, be superior; to go up, ascend, climb) and besieged (to decline by slanting rays of evening/the time when shadows fall/sorrow, weakness comes and hope has faded...changing the 'light'; abide (in tents), camp, dwell, encamp, grow to an end, lie, pitch (tent), rest in tent) Jabesh-gilead (dry heap of testimony); and all the men of Jabesh (dryness/confusion/shame/disappointment) said to Nahash (serpent/snake), Make ((destroy, consume; to cut, cut off, cut down, cut off a body part, cut out, eliminate, kill, cut a covenant) a treaty (covenant, alliance, pledge ) with us, and we will serve you. (serve as subjects, enslave) 2But Nahash (serpent/snake) the Ammonite (tribal/associate/nation; to huddle together; to dim, darken, grow dark) told them, On this condition (on these conditions, herewith, thus provided, by, through this, for this cause, in this matter; from: a lamb/sheep/a flock being pushed, ruined and desolated out to graze/eat food/food of the spirit) I will make (destroy, consume; to cut, cut off, cut down, cut off a body part, cut out, eliminate, kill, cut a covenant) a treaty (covenant, alliance, pledge) with you, that I thrust out (dig, pick out, pierce, put (thrust) out) all your right (the stronger and more dexterous; the place of honor; the strength to do something; personal intercession; natural strength; strength of man or power of God revealed through man; natural change)  eyes ( as showing mental qualities; of mental and spiritual faculties) and thus lay disgrace (reproach resting upon condition of shame; to expose as by stripping) on all Israel. (God's people)

Rewrite:

And satan, the one that causes darkness in the world/nations, excelled and became superior in how God's people perceived the times; increasing their sorrows, weaknesses and hopelessness. And satan abides in the 'Dried up and Withered Testimony of God's ; the place of shame, confusion and disappointment. This made God's people weaker, changing their spiritual vision and their point of a view of negativity.

God's people then said to satan, " Make a truce with us; a bond, a connection with us. Then we will be enslaved to you and serve as your subjects."

Satan told them, "This is what you will have to do: As a flock of sheep, I will push you out to graze on this 'spiritual food'. I will cut off a part of you to make this alliance with me. The part of you that I will cut off, dig out and pierce is your 'spiritual vision' the part that 'sees' with your mental and physical faculties, your thoughts. This will be a condition of shame on God's people, exposing them by stripping off God's protection and covering that protects their mind and thoughts."

 

11The next day Saul put the men in three companies; and they came into the midst of the enemy’s camp in the [darkness of the] morning watch and slew the Ammonites until midday; and the survivors were scattered, so that no two of them remained together.

Rewrite:

In a future time, after 'asking', the men's thoughts and mind were superior; completed and matured they severed the place where satan had tried to 'change their spiritual vision'. They overcame the 'slanting' of light that had changed their spiritual vision. They became watchful and awake. The people of God killed the place of where 'darkness merges with the world/nations'. What remained of the 'darkness' was dashed in pieces and dispersed so that no unity was left for this 'merging of darkness and nations'. It could no longer remain united...it was 'disjointed', and weakened.

 

"Watching for Growth During Winnowing"

4-9-13

Psalm 72:16 (AMP) There shall be abundance  (expanse, fulness, plenty; from: to disperse, that is, (intransitively) disappear: - cease) of grain (to clarify/examine by winnowing) in the soil (to be firm) upon the top (head, top, summit, upper part, chief, total, sum, height, front, beginning; to shake the 'head') of the mountains (meaning to loom up; type of promotion or problem) [the least fruitful places in the land]; the fruit (grow, increase) of it shall wave (make afraid; to undulate as the earth, the sky, etc.; also a field of grain, particularly through fear; specifically to spring as a locust) like [the forests of] Lebanon (white; purity) , and [the inhabitants of] the city (a place guarded by waking or a watch; excitement, anguish; from: idea of opening the eyes) shall flourish (to blossom; to show self) like grass (meaning to glisten or be green/i.e. growth; tender shoot, herb) of the earth. (to be firm)

REWRITE:

There shall be unseen fullness and plenty...an inner-man stretching...by examination and clarification in winnowing/testing in order to get rid of what is undesirable inside of us. This is done by the use of fluxuation and change. What is foundational and firmly set in our thinking will be sifted to the top and loom up/become large...revealing promotion or problems. What is inside of us will be shaken by fear by what is Truth. We are to watch in excitement and maybe even anguish (extreme pain, distress). We are to watch with our spiritual eyes, and 'see' what will show itself and blossom. Watch for the tender 'shoot', the growth, of what is foundational/firm within ourselves.

 

“Moving OPPOSITE the Jordon”

Judges 7:25

*25 And [the men of Ephraim] (fruitful; increase) took (to be caught of men in a trap/snare) the two (division/ separation or witness/testimony) princes (to have dominion) of Midian, ("strife"/contention; a contest/quarrel; from: to rule/to judge as umpire; to strive as at law) (#853 AS A SIGN FROM GOD) Oreb ("The Raven" Type of evil spirit & satan going to and fro) and Zeeb, ("The Wolf" type of satan & false ministries and teachers) and they slew (to kill, slay, murder, destroy, murderer, slayer, out of hand, ruin) (#853 AS A SIGN FROM GOD) Oreb ("The Raven" Type of evil spirit & satan going to and fro)at the rock of Oreb (shut up, shut in, enclose, secure, to bind, besiege, confine, cramp , bind up...the "evil spirit/satan going to and fro") and Zeeb ("The Wolf" type of satan & false ministries and teachers) they slew (to kill, slay, murder, destroy, murderer, slayer, out of hand, ruin) at the winepress of Zeeb, (to excavate; a trough as dug out; specifically a wine vat, whether the lower one, into which the juice drains; or the upper, in which the grapes are crushed...OF..."The Wolf" type of satan and false ministries and teachers) and pursued (to chase, to put to flight, to pursue ardently, aim eagerly to secure, pursue...+...motion toward) Midian; ("strife"/contention; a contest/quarrel; from: to rule/to judge as umpire; to strive as at law) and they brought the heads (type: thoughts, mind, intelligence; principal ruler; head, top, summit, upper part, chief, total, sum, height, front, beginning; from: to shake/that which can be shaken) of Oreb ("The Raven" Type of evil spirit & satan going to and fro) and Zeeb ("The Wolf" type of satan & false ministries and teachers) to Gideon ("He that bruises or breaks; a destroyer; "hewer"/feller/warrior; to fell a tree-destroy something; from: to cut off, hew, chop, cut off, hew off, cut in two, shave off) beyond (a part of, off, from, out of, on account of, to apportion...+...opposite side, region beyond or across, side; from: of any transition/change, to pass over or by or through, alienate, to impregnate, to advance, travel)the Jordan. (the river of judgment; "Descender"; literally to go downwards; or conventionally to a lower region, as the shore, a boundary, the enemy, etc.; or figuratively to fall; causatively to bring down. run down, sink, subdue, to go down, descend, decline, march down, sink down; figuratively to fall); causatively to bring down; to lay prostrated)

REWRITE:

Fruitfulness and increase ensnares what separates and divides what dominates strife and contention. (Divides and conquers that which rules over strife and contention) This is a sign from God to us, that He is working with us! The evil of satan, that searches out the places that evil can land, and false ministries and teachers are then destroyed. Satan’s evil searchings are destroyed by being bound up so he can not move (by our authority in Jesus). The ‘wolf’/ false ministries and teachers are destroyed as we dig out the Truth by testing these teachings…pressing and squeezing them to get out their ‘best juices’. We put this ‘evil raven’ and ‘evil wolf’ to flight by perusing them and chasing them out of our lives. (Being the pursuer in authority and not the victim). We pursue after strife and contention to bring it under our submission and authority in Christ. We then bring the ‘dominating thoughts’ that are vulnerable to evil and false teachings (where satan could ‘land’) to Jesus, the ‘Hewer’, Who whittles these thoughts down to just Truth…the OPPOSITE of what satan would try to convince us was Truth.

Capturing negative/evil thoughts, and knowing that those are only from satan is the key. God only gives us GOOD thoughts. Those are the ones we cling to as Truth.

Satan tries to sell us OPPOSITE notions. When these evil things come to us, we are to KNOW that satan is telling on himself. This is our CUE to change our thinking into God’s thinking. We move OPPOSITE of evil, to the place BEYOND THE JORDON!

 

"NOT ONE 'EASILY ACCESSED' WORD, SPOKEN WITH GOD, WILL FALL SHORT"

Joshua 23:14 And behold, (to perceive through sight or apprehension; to gaze upon; to call attention to) this day I am going (go, walk, to die, live, manner of life) the way (way, road, distance, journey, manner; course of life; moral character) of all the earth. Know (wisdom, recognise, to perceive and see, find out and discern, acknowledge) in all your hearts (inner man, mind, will, heart, soul, understanding) and in all your souls (soul, self, life, creature, person, appetite, mind, living being, desire, emotion, passion) that not one (to unify, unite, to collect ones thoughts) thing (a word; by implication a matter (as spoken of) of thing; a cause) has failed (to lie prostrate; to fall, lie, be cast down, fail) of all the good (a good thing, benefit, welfare, pleasant, agreeable, prosperity, happiness)things (a word; by implication a matter (as spoken of) of thing; a cause) which the Lord your God promised (to speak, declare, converse, command, promise, warn, threaten, sing, to lead away, to put to flight) concerning (upon, on the ground of, according to, on account of, on behalf of, concerning, beside, in addition to, together with, beyond, above, over, by, on to, towards) you. All have come to pass (to bring in, cause to come in, gather, cause to come, bring near, bring against, bring upon) for you; not one thing (a word; by implication a matter (as spoken of) of thing; a cause) of them has failed.(to lie prostrate; to fall, lie, be cast down, fail)

REWRITE:

Pay attention to and try to understand by using your 'eyes'/spiritual vision, this FACT: Everyone 'goes through life's experiences until the body dies.

Find out and discern in your inner man and in your mind that not one thought or spoken word lies down or lays prostrate (bows or 'gives up/in') of all the pleasant, agreeable and beneficial spoken words which God has spoken and declared together with us (doing it together with Him).

(We have to declare the same words over ourselves that God has said over us to activate it. Believe it, understand it, when saying these words...believe it and understand it, in the inner man and with the mind.)

(Everything has been brought near and is close to us. Not one spoken word or spoken cause that has been spoken will bow down, or fall or be cast down or fail. (These 'spoken words from God' are right in front of us for easy access. Not one of these 'easily accesses words' will fall short when we speak them together with Father God.)

 

S. Deut. 30:9 And the Lord your God will make you abundantly prosperous in every work of your hand, in the fruit (reward) of your body (to be hollow/seat of hunger/mental faculties), of your cattle (to be mute; dumb beast), of your land (to show blood/redness/soil), for good (welfare, prosperity, happiness); for the Lord will again delight in prospering you, as He took delight in your fathers, 

10 If you obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep (attend to/guard/protect/hedge about) His commandments and His statutes which are written (prescribed) in this Book of the Law, and if you turn (bring to mind/to restore, refresh, repair) to the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart (to transport, 'get a mind' (MAKE CAKES) or unheart the inner man, mind, will, heart, soul, understanding) and with all your being. (soul, self, life, creature, person, appetite, mind, living being, desire, emotion, passion, vitality)

11For this commandment (constitute, give charge over) which I command (put in order) you this day is not too difficult (be surpassing, be extraordinary, separate by distinguishing action) for you, nor is it far off. (remote, precious, be extended)

12It is not [a secret laid up] in heaven, (atmosphere, lofty:dominant, dominating, eminent, prominent; elevated, lifted, raised, uplifted, upswept; high-rise, statuesque) that you should say, Who shall go up for us to heaven and bring it to us, that we may hear and do it?

13Neither is it beyond the sea, ('west'=the end of something; symbol: masses of humanity) that you should say, Who shall go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear and do it?

14But the word (speech, word, speaking; business, occupation, acts, matter, case, something, manner; a matter (as spoken of) of thing; adverbially a cause; to speak, declare, converse, command, promise, warn, threaten, sing) is very near you, in your mouth (to cleave in pieces, break into pieces, shatter; to blow away) and in your mind and in your heart (to transport, 'get a mind' (MAKE CAKES) or unheart the inner man, mind, will, heart, soul, understanding) so that you can do it. (to do, fashion, accomplish, make)

Our CHANGE/TRANSITION & Limits to our Territory

3-18-13

Joshua 1:

2Moses My servant is dead. So now arise [take his place], go over this Jordan, (die to self) you and all this people, into the land (Kingdom territory)which I am giving to them, the Israelites.(those who prevail/contend with God) 

3Every place upon which the sole (power) of your foot (walking through life) shall tread, that have I given to you, as I promised Moses.

4From the wilderness (place of wandering/dry place/a place driven to/a pasture)and this Lebanon (pure)to the great river Euphrates   (that makes fruitful)--all the land of the Hittites [Canaan]-- (trembling/fear) and to the Great [Mediterranean] Sea (masses of humanity) on the west ("toward the going down of the sun" or place or act of battlement) shall be your territory. ("coast"=border, territory, space, limit)

11Pass through (transition/change + the midst, among, inner part, middle) the camp (army/church) and command (set in order) (#853 from God as a sign/signal) the people, Prepare (stedfast; restored; to be firm, be stable, be established) your provisions, (meat, provision, venison, victuals; from: that which he took in hunting/lunch especially for a journey) for within three days (completed appointed time) you shall pass over (transition/change)(#853 from God as a sign/signal) this Jordan (humility/dying to self) to go in (enter/attain to) to take possession (to occupy be driving out previous tenants, and possessing in their place; to inherit)(#853 from God as a sign/signal) of the land (country, world, ground, wilderness; Kingdom Territory) which the Lord your God is giving you to possess. (to occupy be driving out previous tenants, and possessing in their place; to inherit)

12And to the Reubenites,(vision of the son) the Gadites,(band/troop type:church) and the half-tribe (to cut/split in two/middle/partial/incomplete/one of two equal parts/shorten/curtail...church) of Manasseh, (forgetfulness) Joshua (type: Jesus) said,

13 Remember (#853 from God as a sign/signal)(mark) what Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, saying, The Lord your God is giving you (#853 from God as a sign/signal)[of these two (witness/testimony; division/separation) and a half (to cut/split in two/middle/partial/incomplete/one of two equal parts/shorten/curtail) tribes (church) a place of] rest  (quiet, repose, open space, to alight) and will give you this land [east of the Jordan] (before/precedes humility/dying to self).

14Your wives, (extended mortal) your little ones, (to trip with short steps) and your cattle (possession, purchase, substance) shall dwell in the land which Moses gave you on this side (opposite side of transition/change) of the Jordan, (humility/dying to self) but all your mighty men (prevail/exceed/powerful/warrior) of valor (ability/sufficantcy/ strength, might, efficiency, wealth, army) shall pass (transition/change) on before  (to turn) your brethren (resemblance/relative, kinship, same tribe) [of the other tribes] armed, (in battle array, arrayed for battle by fives, armed; from: the 5th rib='grace' in 'conviction of sin/the intimate part of man's makeup; abdomen/) and help them (to surround, that is, protect or aid/secure)[possess their land]

15Until the Lord gives your brethren rest, (to settle down/let fall/place) as He has given you, and they also possess (to seize, dispossess, take possession off, inherit, disinherit, occupy, impoverish, be an heir) (#853 from God as a sign/signal)the land the Lord your God is giving (to give, put, set) them. Then you shall return (to return, turn back; restore/refresh/repair)to the land of your possession (be driving out previous tenants and possessing in their place;  inheritance) and possess it, (to seize, dispossess, take possession off, inherit, disinherit, occupy, impoverish, be an heir) the land Moses the Lord’s servant gave you on the sunrise side (east; hide self/hiding place/refuge; to hide as if in the bosom/to cherish) of the Jordan. (transition/change; region beyond or across)

 

 

 

"TESTING THE ROD'S"

2-25-13

S. Numbers 17:8 And the next day Moses went into the Tent of the Testimony (the place inside of us where God dwells), and behold, the rod (correction/support of life) of Aaron (Light Bringer) for the house of Levi  had sprouted (to break out of leprosy/a skin or flesh disease) and brought forth buds and produced blossoms and yielded [ripe] almonds.

0. Each of the twelve tribes tested the 'rods of their tribes'. The test was to put the 'symbol' of what was leading their lives (the rod) into the Ark (where God's presence dwelt) to see if there was life there. The only rod that ended up having any life was Aaron's..."The Light Bringer's" life.

A. I need to test the things in my life that either make my spirit alive, or make it decay. I need to test 'the rods' of so-called 'spirit increasers' in my personal 'ark/spirit'. I thought, at one time, that New Age meditation helped my spirit to grow in truth. But it was the WRONG 'ROD'! THIS kind of meditation left my spirit empty...without substance. But, when I found Jesus and inserted His Truth, My spirit was actually budding because the "Light Bringer's" 'rod' was in my 'spirit'! 

P. Father, You tell us to test what is Truth. You have opened my spiritual eyes to see what IS TRUTH! I thank You that YOU are the TRUTH and none other can bring life to my spirit but YOU!

YOUR PERSONAL SPIRITUAL GARDEN

3-16-13

S. Galations 6:8 For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

O. Scatter seed, what can grow, into the ungodly part of yourself, and it will cause you to decay and die. Scatter seed, what can grow, toward what makes you alive in God (Holy Spirit), and Holy Spirit will increase your 'alive-ness'...forever.

A. Nothing I can do can make me more 'alive' inside. And even if I tried to make my inside happy, it wouldn't last long. But Holy Spirit knows how to make things full of life...He is spirit, and that IS life/aliveness. When I sew into HIM, He sews life back into my spirit...making me full of:

life, aliveness, vital principle by which the body is animated , mental disposition, rational spirit, the power by which the human being feels, thinks, decides; the soul; a simple essence, devoid of all or at least all grosser matter and possessed of the power of knowing, desiring, deciding, and acting; a life giving spirit; a spirit higher than man but lower than God, i.e. an angel;the spiritual nature of Christ, higher than the highest angels and equal to God, the divine nature of Christ; the disposition or influence which fills and governs the soul of any one; the efficient source of any power, affection, emotion, desire, etc.

So this is the answer to inner tranquility. The next question would be...HOW?

P. Father, You alone know what my spirit craves. Help me to find all that will fill me up with You...show me HOW! How do I 'sew into Holy Spirit'? Time? Prayer? Listening? CHANGING MY THINKING? Submitting? Please show me the way.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

THE STONES & PLASTER

3-14-13

S. Deut. 27:2-7
2And on the day when you pass over the Jordan (judgement/subduer;humility) to the land which the Lord your God gives you, you shall set up great stones (to build/rebuild/establish) and cover them with plaster. (made from 'burning bones')
3And you shall write on (inscribe/engrave;remember,memorial) them all the words of this law when you have passed over, (transition/change) that you may go into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has promised you.
4And when you have gone over the Jordan, you shall set up (stand up/arise/fulfill/confirm/establish/carry out) these stones, as I command you this day, on Mount Ebal, (stone/bare mountain/bald/bare) and coat them with plaster.
5And there you shall build an altar to the Lord your God, an altar of stones; you shall not lift up any iron (harshness/strength/oppression/pierce/holes/"in leanness:choice olives") tool upon them.
6You shall build the altar of the Lord your God of whole (complete/peaceful/to be safe) stones and offer burnt offerings on it to Him
7And you shall offer peace offerings, and eat there and rejoice before the Lord your God. 8And you shall write upon the stones all the words of this law (prescription) very plainly.

The Stones & Plaster

Personally Rewritten: And on the day when you 'change' because of 'judgement' and are 'humbled' into God's Kingdom here on earth, you are to build and establish this 'kingdom' with what has been 'burned up' in your life and made 'dead'. (The learning experiences that you went through and learned from...that which wasn't needed and is dead in your life is DEAD (bones). That which has LIFE) Remember what God has prescribed for you, through these 'tests'/'trials' in your PERSONAL life. Remember them! You are heading to a VERY blessed and full future...GOD HAS PROMISED YOU THIS! And when you have 'changed' and are 'humbled before God', you are to stand these 'perscribe' things up over your life...not what YOU have done, but what GOD has done in YOUR LIFE. Build your thankfulness to God on these lessons/prescriptions and dedicate them to Him alone. They are SAFE, COMPLETE and full of all things PEACEFUL...as His prescribed lessons for you alone...personal. You are to offer these lessons back to God TOTALLY that You would absorb them, devour them, learn from them because of HIS teaching you...and then you are to praise and rejoice for them...thanking God! These lessons should be remembered and plainly seen by yourself (maybe others, too).




JESUS FREED US...STAY THAT WAY!

1.) Jesus completely freed us
2.) Do not be ensnared by slavery again.
3.) Through Holy Spirit's help
4.) Through faith, anticipate and wait
5.) Through Holy Spirit, hope!

Galations 5:1IN [this] freedom Christ has made us free [and completely liberated us]; stand fast then, and do not be hampered and held ensnared and submit again to a yoke of slavery [which you have once put off].
5For we, [not relying on the Law but] through the [Holy] Spirit’s [help], by faith anticipate and wait for the blessing and good for which our righteousness and right standing with God [our conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action, causes us] to hope.
6For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love.

WHO STOPPED YOU FROM THE CORRECT WAY?

1.) Evil persuasion, interference and hindrance that stops you from heeding and following the Truth, doesn't come from God. God INVITED you into His freedom!
2.)God INVITED you into His freedom!

Galations 5:7You were running the race nobly. Who has interfered in (hindered and stopped you from) your heeding and following the Truth?
8This [evil] persuasion is not from Him Who called you [Who invited you to freedom in Christ].

HOW TO STAY ON TRACK...THE RIGHT PATH:

1.) through love, serve one another & love your neighbor as yourself

13For you, brethren, were [indeed] called to freedom; only [do not let your] freedom be an incentive to your flesh and an opportunity or excuse [for selfishness], but through love you should serve one another. 14For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is complied with in the one precept, You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself.

2.) walk in and live habitually in Holy Spirit & be guided by the Holy Spirit

16But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God). 17For the desires of the flesh are opposed to the [Holy] Spirit, and the [desires of the] Spirit are opposed to the flesh (godless human nature); for these are antagonistic to each other [continually withstanding and in conflict with each other], so that you are not free but are prevented from doing what you desire to do. 18But if you are guided (led) by the [Holy] Spirit, you are not subject to the Law.

THE RESULT OF OBEDIENCE...THE RESULTING FRUIT:
1.) Love
2.) Joy/gladness
3.) Peace
4.) Patience (an even temper, forbearance)
5.) Kindness
6.) Goodness
7.) Faithfulness
8.) Gentleness (meekness, humility)
9.) Self-control (self-restraint, continence)
10.) Crucifixion of the godless human nature (human passions, appetites, desires)

22But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, 23Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge]. 24And those who belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah) have crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites and desires.

TESTING THE PROPHET AND DREAMER

S. Deut. 13:1-5

1 IF A prophet (spokesman) arises among you, or a dreamer (to restore to health/be healthy/be strong)of dreams, and gives you a sign (consent that appears as evidence/proof in the form of a sign/signal/miracle/mark) or a wonder (conspicuous and beautiful wonder, sign, miracle, portent),

2 And the sign or the wonder he foretells to you comes to pass, and if he says, Let us go after other gods--gods you have not known--and let us serve them,

3 You shall not listen to the words of that prophet or to that dreamer of dreams. For the Lord your God is testing (adventure/attempt, try, prove, tempt, assay, put to the proof or test) you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being.

4 You shall walk after the Lord your God and [reverently] fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice, and you shall serve Him and cling to Him.

 5 But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death,(to die prematurely by neglect of wise moral conduct) because he has talked rebellion and turning away from the Lord your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of bondage; that man has tried to draw you aside (to push off, to expel, mislead, strike, inflict, etc.) from the way (journey, course of life, of moral character) in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. So shall you put the evil away from your midst. (from out of the center)

14:

1YOU ARE the sons of the Lord your God; you shall not cut (to invade, attack, penetrate/to gather in troops or crowds) yourselves or make any baldness on your foreheads (of mental and spiritual faculties) for the dead (to die prematurely (by neglect of wise moral conduct), 2For you are a holy people [set apart] to the Lord your God; and the Lord has chosen you to be a peculiar (to be shut up as God's valued property, peculiar treasure) people to Himself, above all the nations on the earth.

 

 

"CLOSING THE 'GAP' OF STRIFE IN OUR LIVES''

3-2-13

S. Numbers 31:6-9 & 14-17 

6. And Moses (type of Jesus) sent them to the war, 1,000 (eternal) from each tribe, together with Phinehas (spiritual incantations/whispers/prayers) son of Eleazar, (Helper of God; type of Holy Spirit) the priest , with the [sacred] vessels of the sanctuary (type of Believer; prepared utensils/full grown Believers) and the trumpets (shouts of war/joy/voices) to blow the alarm in his hand. (strength/power)

7 They fought with Midian,(strife) as the Lord commanded Moses, and slew every male, (remembrance/memorial/'call to mind')

8 Including the five (#of God's grace to man/man's responsibility) kings of Midian (strife): Evi (unjust/to wish for/my desire), Rekem, (vain pictures) Zur (sharp rock as compresses), Hur (the crevice of a serpant/a prison cell), and Reba (the fourth/a square=religious/that lies or stoops down); also Balaam (the destruction of the people) son of Beor (foolish, mad, burning) they slew with the sword.(type of the WORD OF GOD; to waste/be in ruin/be desolate/dried up/attack/smite down/fight/to parch with drought).

9 And the Israelites took captive the women of Midian (the extent/spirit of 'strife') and their little ones,(stripping steps) and all their cattle, (obedience and docility to higher rule) their flocks,(that which was purchased) and their goods as booty (strength/might/efficiency/wealth/army/a force).

14 But Moses was angry with the officers of the army, the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, who served in the war.

15 And Moses said to them, Have you let all the women (the extent of a man/spirit of 'strife') live?

16 Behold, these caused the Israelites by the counsel of Balaam (counsel of destroying the people) to trespass and act treacherously against the Lord in the matter of Peor, (hole/opening/gap) and so a [smiting] plague came among the congregation of the Lord.

17 Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who is not a virgin. (has been intimate with 'strife')

O. REWRITE: 6. Jesus sent God's people to war for eternity, all those who had the love of God in common. Together, with the seed and voices of prayer, Holy Spirit, and the Believers are to shout, showing their combined strength and power through their words.

7. They fought strife, as Jesus had commanded them to do, and killed every reminder of 'strife' in their lives.

8. This included the remembering of their own responsibility in bringing 'strife'; their unjust actions and desires for strife; the pride that bringing 'strife' to others has; the way 'strife' compresses or slows others from moving; the binding prison cell of strife; the 'religiousosity' of strife that causes one to 'stoop down'. This also caused the Believer to forget what he had done to bring strife in order to 'bring destruction' to God's people, which is 'maddness'. ALL THIS 'REMEMBERING' WAS STOPPED BY USING GOD'S WORDS, AND SPEAKING THEM ALOUD...SHOUTING! God's Word brings waste, ruin and drought to 'strife'.

9. And so, God's people took control of the 'spirit of strife', and the way it 'trips' people up. But they didn't destroy it.

14 & 15. The Lord was angry that His soldiers/Believers who did not DESTROY 'strife' by using their WORDS, AUTHORITY and STRENGTH. (God's Word) 

16. Jesus then says, "The 'spirit of strife' caused God's people, through the listening to the 'spirit of strife', to sin and act on that sin. 'The spirit of strife' leaves a 'gap' or 'door' open to sinning and causing God's people to sin."

17. "As a result, all memories of causing others to 'trip up' (and HOW to 'trip up others' by using strife) must be destroyed.  Also, any intimacy with 'the spirit of strife' must be destroyed." 

A. 'The spirit of 'strife' is strong, and can leave 'gates and doors' opened to sin. The 'spirit of strife' has to be DESTROYED...completely...so that NO gaps remain for it to get back in to my life. I can only do this through God's word. I am to put the combined power into that word, in partnership with Holy Spirit, by SPEAKING IT OUT LOUD with the authority that Jesus gave me.

P. Jesus, thank You for the power You have brought here to earth, that we may use our Father's Words to destroy strife. I speak Your Word, Father, and say, "STRIFE, YOU ARE POWERLESS IN MY LIFE, I SLAM SHUT THE GAP YOU HAVE MADE IN MY LIFE, IN THE NAME AND AUTHORITY OF JESUS CHRIST!" amen!

Romans_13:13

(ASV) Let us walk becomingly, as in the day; not in revelling and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and jealousy.
